We are pleased to offer University of Miami students and their dependents access to voluntary dental and vision insurance through MetLife and Superior Vision by MetLife.
Annual Plans:
Effective dates 08/01/2025 – 07/31/2026
Semi Annual Plans:
Fall effective dates 08/01/2025 – 01/31/2026
Spring Effective Date 02/01/2026-07/31/2026
Annual Plans: Enrollment is ongoing (but will be closed from December 15th – January 1st. )
Semi Annual Plans: Fall enrollment will close on October 10th. Spring enrollment will close on May 10th.
The effective date of a plan remains the same and is not dependent on the actual date of enrollment.
*To use the MetLife Dental HMO you must provide a valid facility ID prior to the 15th of the month to appear on the roster for the following month. If you do not select a provider when you enroll, one will be selected for you.
